DIY Fabric Flower Pot

tks_2732

There is almost nothing I love more than having flowers in my house. Over the years I’ve bought and/or made countless vases and flower pots, but somehow I’m always finding new ideas I want to test out.

Over the holidays I decided I needed some more Christmas-y flower pot decor, so I threw this DIY together. I wanted something cute, but not too time consuming or extravagant to where I would regret only being able to use them a couple months out of the year. Of course you can do this with any color fabric and use them year-round, so it’s a great one to have in your DIY arsenal.

What you’ll need:

  • Basic flower pot
  • Fabric
  • Fabric scissors
  • Glue gun

Maybe it’s overdone but I love a good beach-themed room, and I do live in Carmel-by-the-Sea, so it sort of makes sense.

I was searching Pinterest for some cute DIY ideas and came across seashell candles, which I thought would be the perfect accent piece for the bathroom! It was surprisingly easy actually, and turned out really cute, so I thought I’d share it with you!

All you need to make the candles themselves are some shells and tea lights, both of which you can easily find at your local craft store.
