Love is in the air! With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought I’d share this simple DIY for some adorable V-Day inspired decor.

All you need is:

• 2-3 different shades of pink string
• wood or cardboard letters (I cut mine out but you can also buy them at any craft store)
• scissors
• hot glue gun

Start by gluing the end of the string down to the top edge of a letter.

Now start wrapping! The trick is, as you work your way down, put a line of glue on one edge of the letter, so the string stays in place after each wrap.

I stopped about halfway down each letter and started again with a new color string, but you can really get creative and make it how you like!

You can easily get this done in a couple hours while watching your favorite TV show—the time flies by! And the finished product is oh so cute!

I decided to add the pink roses to make it extra sweet for Valentine’s Day. I’ll be hosting a bunch of girlfriends for Galentine’s on the 13th and can’t wait to show this off!
