Every year I like to get a little creative with my gift wrapping and gift tags. This year, I decided to spice things up and try a wood gift tag DIY. It’s so simple and cute, anyone can do it!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- wood rounds
- ribbon
- black chalk paint
- Sharpie paint pen (I used white but you can gold or silver would work great too!)
First, paint the wood rounds on one side with chalk paint, leaving a little space between the painted circle and the edge of the wood.
Once the paint is dry, flip the wood over and glue the ribbon on.
Finally, write festive words and/or names onto the tags using the sharpie paint pen. I made some with my family’s names and others to use as cute secret Santa tags and ornaments. I love the way they turned out!
What are some other fun gift tag DIYs? Let me know in the comments below!
