My first Fab Fit Fun box came and I am SO excited to share it with you! If you’ve never heard of Fab Fit Fun, it’s a subscription service that sends you a seasonal box full of fabulous fashion, beauty, health, and fitness goodies. It costs $49.99 every 3 months (with free shipping), but the total retail value of the box usually ends up at over $200—that’s the big selling point. If you sign up for a year subscription ($180) you can also save $5 a box, but since I wasn’t sure how I would like it, I decided to go with the seasonal plan.
Fall happens to be my favorite season (I’m a sucker for anything pumpkin flavored), so it worked out perfectly that I got the Fall 2016 box as my first! From the website I gather that the boxes are usually colored when you get them, but this one is a little different. More on that in a sec. Also completely coincidentally, the box arrived exactly a week before my birthday—I was pretty pumped for a bunch of early birthday gifts, even if I had gotten them for myself 😉
Let’s dive in! Considering that this box was shipped cross country or from who knows where, it arrived in perfect condition, and everything inside could not have been more neatly packed. And just look how cute the little sticker is that was holding together the tissue paper!
#1: FABFITFUN COLORING BOOK & COLORED PENCILS
You can’t see it when you first open the box, but the featured fabfitfun item this season is this adorable little coloring book and colored pencils set. Now the box itself starts to make a lot more sense right? You can color it in! I’ve always had a bit of a creative side and could not be happier that coloring books for adults are a thing now.
#2: MODCLOTH LOCH AND KEY SCARF
Big fluffy scarves are another one of my top favorite things about fall, and I’m in love with this Modcloth blanket scarf. It’s incredibly soft and you can wear it so many different ways! So far it seems like they put together this box just for me 😉
#3: THE CREATED CO. TO-GO COFFEE MUG
I don’t know about all of you but I usually can’t function before my first cup of coffee—or in the case of fall a pumpkin spice latte. This pretty travel mug is definitely going to get a lot of use this season!
#4: THE BROWGAL CLEAR, WATER-RESISTANT EYEBROW GEL
#5: SKIN LAUNDRY RESTORING NIGHT SERUM
#6: MULLEIN & SPARROW MINI FRENCH LAVENDER BODY OIL
I’ve already started using all three of these products and overall I love them!
The brow gel is nice but nothing special—I’ve used Anastasia and Benefit brow gels before and they’re all pretty similar.
I was a little skeptical about the night serum to be honest but surprisingly I can actually feel a difference in my skin since I’ve started using it before I go to sleep.
The body oil is AH. MA. ZING. It doesn’t hurt that lavender is one of my absolute favorite scents, but seriously, my skin is loving the dose of hydration from this luxurious oil.
#7: SPONGELLÉ BULGARIAN ROSE BODY WASH INFUSED BUFFER
This totally beats a drugstore loofah. Timed release lather with extracts of Yuzu, Edelweiss, and Vetiver? Yes please! Even after the soap runs out you can use it like a regular bath sponge—I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to use a regular loofah again!
#8: PURE COSMETICS NUDE COLLECTION EYESHADOW PALETTE
So full disclosure I don’t wear eyeshadow almost ever. This palette is very pretty though, and sort of reminds be of the Naked palette I already own. I think my sister would love this though, so I may re-gift it to her for Christmas. Still a win in my book!
#9: TOESOX TOELESS FITNESS SOCKS
Another item perfect for me! Everyone that knows me knows I’m a bit of a Pilates freak. I started doing Pilates in my early twenties and haven’t stopped since. I’ve got a whole drawer full of grip socks but one more pair is never a bad thing! Plus this pink color is fab.
#10: COTTONELLE FRESH CARE FLUSHABLE CLEANSING CLOTHS
#11: SECRET OUTLAST XTEND CLEAR GEL
These little extras are just the cherry on top! I’ll definitely be throwing these in my gym bag for when I’m on the go.
That’s a wrap! Overall, I’m really happy with everything I got in my fall box—my first fabfitfun experience was a success! I’ll definitely use everything besides the eyeshadow, and now I have a fun stocking stuffer for my sis too. I would definitely recommend fabfitfun to anyone who loves to try new products and brands. I haven’t decided whether I’m going to get the winter box but I will definitely share if I do!
